In all profession, be it a doctor, policeman, lawyers, etc. There are those who know more and there are those who know less. Scary part is because of their expertise in the specific area, many times, we may not be even sure if what they say is true.

In MonaVie, they don't just have 1 doctor to make sure he/she says everything they want him/her to say. They have a few. Below are just 3 doctors who are affliated with MonaVie. Do take note their credentials and years of experience. Just to share a pointer. How to determine a doctor is good? Check out not just his qualifications and experience. See if there's any good papers he has published lately that has caught the attention.

Today, I would like to share with you a short story.

There was once a time when an insurance agent (No Pun intended) visited an old man, wanting to sell some policies to him. Inside the old man's house, there was also a big old dog. After settling down, the agent, a young man, started to talk about the policy. Right after that the dog gave a long groan.... The young man thought it was quite funny and gave a laugh, trying to make the meeting more and ease. After a while, when the young man started to talk about the insurance policy again, the dog gave a long groan again...

Feeling not at ease, the young man decided to asked the old man why was the dog groaning here and there. The old man said "Oh that dog had a nail in it, but wasn't that keen to do anything about it. Though the pain is bothering him, it is not to the point of him wanting to do something about it"

Now isn't that so for the case of us as well? Sometimes in life, there might be something that is bothering us, and because it might not be deemed as that urgent, we put it aside, even though it might be important. One such example is our health. Many of my friends, relatives often waited for a long time, before symptoms appeared before making drastic measures, such as eating habits and exercise, and of course not to mention taking tons of medications in order to attempt to improve the situation. Not to mention the fact that for cases where are discovered much later often warrant an operation and/or huge medical bills. All these could have really prevented if we have consistently been taking care of our health.

Cheryl Burke’s Healthy-Life Confessions

Marc Royce
By Elizabeth Jenkins
From Health magazine

Cheryl Burke, the two-time Dancing with the Stars winner and entrepreneur (she owns a San Francisco dance studio and recently launched a fitness clothing line, chats withHealth about how she maintains her amazing dancer’s body, what always gets her energized, and her favorite body part (no, it’s not her legs).

My greatest health accomplishment is:
Not eating fast food!

The health sin I regret most is:
Not wearing sunscreen.

The one thing that gets me energized the fastest is:
Loud music.

My body rocks because …
I dance my butt off.

The key to a flat stomach is:
My workout video Disco Abs.

If I could have any other celeb’s body part, it would be …
Nancy O’Dell’s legs.

Because?
They are so long!

One thing people don’t know about dancing is:
It’s the best workout you can get.

Three healthy things in my fridge right now are:
1. egg whites
2. turkey
3. MonaVie [açai–fruit juice blend]

One not-so-healthy thing that’s in there:
Old chocolate that’s been in there since Valentine’s Day!

If calories didn’t exist, I’d:
Eat lots of sugar—I wouldn’t watch what I eat!

When I need to unwind I …
Go shopping.

The all-time best cure for stress is:
Dancing!

My favorite body part is:
My back.

Because?
It’s long and lean.

If I weren’t a dancer, I’d be:
A makeup artist.

Before I go on stage in front of 20 million people, I always:
Go to the bathroom!

6. What does ORAC mean?

An acronym for oxygen radical absorbance capacity, ORAC is a way to measure the antioxidant capacity of a food. Foods with high ORAC values are desirable for their ability to neutralize free radicals, thus inhibiting the ability of the free radical to cause cell damage. The ORAC measurement was developed by a scientist at the National Institute of Aging in 1992 and has been a valuable tool in quantifying health benefits associated with consuming fruits, vegetables, and other antioxidant-containing foods and supplements.

MonaVie's premier açai blends are designed to help you maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
